Anna Glinsmann: Skizzenbücher

Seitdem ich mein erstes Skizzenbuch zum 12. Geburtstag geschenkt bekommen habe, habe ich immer ein Skizzenbuch in Gebrauch. Hier einige Ausschnitte aus den letzten Jahren. Meine Skizzenbücher sind Notizbuch, Tagebuch, Ideenbuch, Planungsbuch und Sammelalbum. Sie enthalten zum Beispiel auch Sticker, Kursmitschriften, Filmtipps, Gedanken und natürlich – Zeichenstudien. Auch digital skizziere ich viel und habe mir angewöhnt, viele Studien zu malen, sowohl von Foto-Referenzen – manchmal meine eigenen Fotos, manchmal finde ich sie auf Seiten wie Pinterest – und manchmal auch plein air vor Ort. Die Fotostudien dienen als schnelle Aufwärmübung.

I got my first sketchbook for my 12th birthday and I've never stopped always having one in progress since. On average, I'll fill two sketchbooks per year, plus sometimes project sketchbooks. Here you'll see some pages from the last 3 years' sketchbooks. They are at once diary, notebook, and scrapbook, so sometimes they'll include stickers that I didn't make, or class notes, movie recommendations, thoughts and, well, drawings. There are also digital sketch pages. I also made it a habit to frequently study from photos and real life. These studies are quick and serve as a quick warmup exercise. I sometimes use my own photos as reference and sometimes I find the reference on sites like Pinterest.
